Here’s a new project for Robin Barnes who is a Diamond Beachbody Coach.
Stand out and inspire!

This is one of the most exciting project I’ve ever worked on. The design process was fun, working with Mary-Jo was pleasant and the result is this beautiful website. One thing I love about my job is how I get to meet people from various industries and that allows me to learn their field as well. In this instance, I already told my husband to buy 3 sets of the Sunday paper so I can start cutting my coupons!
Savinggreeninthebay.com used to be a blog ( Blogger) and is now redesigned on WordPress.

Joypoulsen.com is a bright and sunny website, just like owner Joy Poulsen. A magazine theme was used to showcase her articles and various endeavors in a neat and professional way while looking colorful and bright.

Every time I tell people (potential clients and others) that I am using WordPress to build websites, I often get the same reaction “Oh no! I don’t want a blog!”. Sure, WordPress is the most popular blog platform out there but it is also one of the best and most stable CMS (Content Management System) you can find. Let me be clear, we are talking about WordPress.org not WordPress.com; take a look HERE to understand the difference.
What is amazing with WordPress is that the core program is separated from its design. So basically what it means is you can customize the look of your site, add functions to it without having to worry about future upgrades.
One example of a WordPress site that is more than just a blog is mine. This site is built on WordPress, I have integrated a portfolio, various contact forms, a payment form, a blog and a slide show. Another example is Body By Candice. She used to host a blog on blogger and decided she wanted more than a blog so we switched her to WordPress. Take a look at the before and after:
BEFORE: AS A BLOG
AFTER: AS A CMS (WEBSITE)
True Crime Lady is live! It’s a crime blog that the owner (a self-proclaimed crime-junkie) wanted built just in time for the Casey Anthony murder trial… and what crime junkie wouldn’t want to cover that?
Most clients know what they want but D.L has to take the top prize as far as really knowing what she wants. She wanted a simple layout that was all about content, content and more content. After all, she is a blogging about a story-filled topic, crime!
I’m happy and proud to announce that DIE FAT GIRL is live. Die Fat Girl is Candice Eckberg’s personal blog. For those of you who don’t know who Candice is, you should definitely check Body By Candice. She is a personal trainer, a Beachbody coach and a self-proclaimed “former fat girl”. Her blog is about how her inner fat girl is dying to get out of her now skinny body. Hence the dramatic header, the grungy background and the bright pink accents.
Nigelspeaks.com is the website of motivational speaker Nigel Williamson. Built on WordPress, complete with simple social icons, custom buttons, a video widget and contact and submission forms.
I am excited to announce that my queue for Spring is officially open. Feel free to fill out the design request form and I will get back to you asap.
XO,
Dina
…. The site is still “slightly” under construction so please forgive the mess. I am trying out a few backgrounds and logos. I didn’t want to show an “Under construction page” because I still want my clients to submit new project requests and know more about me.
I also would like to say that I am happy with the overwhelming responses I got and I want to thank all of you!
